    I know VJ had a bad game. I criticized him on this thread during the game, but I would like to point out that he played well against Mallorca. I believe that he can turn around this season (if he understands that Mbappe is the main scorer and he is the supporter).

    That red card was BS, just rewatched. That said I mentioned a few weeks ago that Dean needs to understand the moment. This is a other stupid red card - he needs to trust his teammates.

    The sending off of Din yesterday brought back into focus one of the disturbing statistics.
    So far in the 21st century, Barcelona have benefited from a balance of 65 red cards in their favor (when an opposing player was sent off, compared to the opposite situation when their player is been sent off), while Real Madrid have a negative balance of minus 2.

    If we compare it to the Champions League, the statistic is perfectly balanced, with Real Madrid having faced ten men 13 times, compared to 12 times for Barcelona.

    We also had the player with the most red cards in the history of the sport on our roster. Ramos accounts for like 80% of our red cards.

    There probably isn't a single negative record in discipline that Ramos doesn't hold.

    We cleaned up significantly once he left.

    The player with the most red cards in football is Gerardo Bedoya with 46. That’s a bit more than one and a half times the total of Sergio Ramos in second place, who got 30 (26 of them with Real Madrid, 20 in La Liga). In third place comes Pablo Alfaro with 27.

    Protecting Militao has to be one of our priorities! Must get Asencio and Alaba going somehow at least for some of the easier home games. No choice really, especially the Tchouameni can't be moved from midfield.

    Of course you would say that, but that is a bs argument.

    It is true thar Ramos had an agressive play style, in fact he holds the red cards record in CL. So the question you should ask, how come we still have that deficit compared to Barcelona in La Liga but not in CL.

    An important fact that you didn’t mention is that he holds the record for the most red cards in the Champions League, together with Ibrahimović and Davies. Ibrahimović, a striker, played 124 matches, and Davies, a central midfielder, played 74 matches, while Ramos, a center-back, played 142 matches.

    Key point missed: We are sending this ominous binder of data to FIFA, not to the UEFA, because they would tell us to stuff it up our backside sideways.

    Which makes me wonder what FIFA are supposed to do. Suspend Spain from the World Cup?
