I think that Chivu, Medzelder are the players in whom the Real Madrid is more interested for the Central position. But maybe the Real is only distracting the attencion. I really hope that the Real will sign a Central if we won't have the problems of the last year. To the RM's directors: Hey,Do you want to see Hierro play with crutches?.
I doubt Ajax will sell Chivu right now, as they feel good about their Champs League aspirations. Edmilson is about as good as it gets on the market right now. He would be a great addition.

Maybe you're right, but as I recall Juventus put up a fight to keep Zidane. Perez was ready to let go of the cash to get him anyway. If RM wants one of these players bad enough they'll most likely get him.
