Juvenil B - players 17-18 years old
Juvenil C - player 16-17 years old

The Real Madrid has a lot people in Spain around the world searching players good enougth to play
in its young teams. if they see a player of ten or more years old with enough quality, they offer him to sign with the team an amateur contract. Also, many young players, mainly from Madrid but also of other places of Spain, go to the tests that the Real Madrid make two or three times a year to find new players.
The players of the young teams between 14 and 18 years old that don't live in Madrid, live in a special house designed for them,
and go to private and expensives High-Schools paid by Real Madrid. They have all type of helps to improve as players and as human beings.
Well, the players that are good enought continue in the club, playing each year in the team corresponding to his age. But if a player is really really good he can play in a superior team.
After years playing in the young teams the best players go to Real Madrid C and later go to Real Madrid B.
The players that are playing in the RM B or RM C are the players that have more chances to play in the first team. All the year wee see how when
the team has injured, the manager call players of RM A or RM C if he thinks that it is necessary. If they play good, they can give a big step to stay in the first team.
These are the new players officially in the first team this year:
Borja - He is 22 years old and he is in RM since he was 16 years old. He is midfielder, but he also can play as centerback.
Ruben - He is 21 years old and he is in RM since he was 16 years old. He is centerback, He played some games the last year when he played in the RM B.
Nuñez - He is 23 years old. He signed for RM B three years ago.
Jordi - He is 20 years old. He signed for RM B last year. Goalkeeper.
Other players of the young teams in the first team:
Raul - He is 26 years old. He is in the RM since he was 16 years old. He signed for the Cadete A and in only one year he was playing in the first team.
Casillas - He is 22 years old. He is in the RM since he was 10 years old. He played his first game with the first team with 17 years old, in CL against Rosenborg.
Guti - He is 26 years old. He is in the RM since he was 12 years old. He played his firt game with firt team when he was 19 years old.
Pavon - He is 23 year old. He is in the RM since he was 10 years old. Centerback.
Portillo - He is 21 years old. He is in RM since he was 11 years old. Forward.
Raul Bravo - He is 22 years old. He is in the RM since he was 15 years old. He plays in the same position of Roberto Carlos.
Miñambres - He is 22 years old. He is in the RM since he was 11 years old. He plays in the same position of Beckham, and he can play in the same position of Salgado.
Carlos Sanchez - He is 25 years old. He is in the RM since he was 16 years old. Goalkeeper.
Cambiasso could also be considered player of the young teams. He is 23 years old and real Madrid signed him to the Real Madrid B when he was 16 years old.
He played in RM B until he was 18, the he was loan for three years in Argentina, and he returned to Real Madrid first team two years ago.
These are the players that are officially in the first team, but there are other players like Jurado, Olalla, Soldado, ... that could play their first minutes with the first team this year.
Jurado is a great player, Del Bosque has said about him that "He could be the next Raul" and DB knows very well the young teams, Jurado is only 17 years old and he has traveled to Valencia with the first team. The club have many confidence in him.
Soldado is other very good player. He is 18 years old and some people say that he is better than Portillo.
Many player of the young teams haven't a chance to play in the first team becaust is very dificult, but many of them have enough quality to play in the first division. There are players of the RM young teams in a big number of teams of the first division. Cañizares, Mista (Valencia), Victor (Deportivo), Urzaiz (Atletico de Bilbao), Dani (Barcelona), Fernando Sand (Malaga), .... I think that two years ago, 53 players of RM young teams played in the diferents teams of la liga, and other 47 in the second division. Here you have a link with a list of all these players:
Great rundown, MadridForever. Impressive!
Yeah, it says that Jurado is on the bench today v Valencia...he impressed me a lot in the U17 WC over the summer against the US; making plays and generally tearing the US apart.
thanks for the very comprehensive review!!!
News about the young teams players.
Nuñez has sign a new contract with RM to play in the team until the year 2007.
It seems that the Club is happy with his play in the begining of the season, and they have confidence in him for the future.
