Isco is much more protected by the press, ZZ and the Bernabeu than, say, Bale, while delivering the same level of effort and quality. I'd give Asensio another season. Isco's destiny is with teams like Valencia and Sevilla.
Someone pls tell me how Asensio contributed more than Lucas ? And he played on the right today.. or was supposed to.. ? Yeah so much talent right there..
Great stuff from some regulars and Mariano, Brahim, Valverde and Vallejo. Not exactly peachy performance by Isco and Lucas who should be sold, while Asensio should be loaned.
Mariano played very well, shame he got injured so much this season, I still think Jovic for him is a trade up though. We played very well today up until the Valverde sub, our midfield died with his exit.
Top tier potential, but probably he will remain at that. Watching his movement in nice counter when he is holding nice central, dangerous position and in next moment he starts running away from the goal towards out line. Facepalm.

I’d give Asensio another shot, possibly a loan. Isco needs to be sold because there’s plenty of clubs that would be attracted to him and willing to pay a decent sum.
Must be a very tiny segment, I think the majority of us are over Isco at this point and think it’s time to move on. People on the other spectrum though are a bit cringy, they probably type their criticisms before he steps on on the pitch lol, and I don’t mean you.
Pogba/Eriksen, Valverde, Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Ndembele. That should be our midfield next season. Modric wont be playing as much next season anyway
I want to know what Zidane has to say after this game.. It will give us a good idea of what he think about the performance of some players.
One has to wonder why Solari wouldn’t give Brahim ( Pep tried all he could to make him stay at City ) the time of the day, this kid is special. And I think he should stay next season, between him, Vinicius and Rodrygo plus Hazard we’re set on unbalancing players.
Perhaps you choose to avoid/ignore those posters, but there’s still plenty of them around. I’m being harsh on him, but I’m done with him being able to lead this team. People forget that at the beginning of the season he (and Asensio) was being hailed as a key player that would finally step up and take charge in Ronnie’s absence, and now people just go easy on him and point to his breakthrough season 2-3 years ago.
The only reason why some here think Asensio deserves ANOTHER chance is because they don't want to admit that they were wrong when they overhyped him to Balon d'or material. Deep down they know that he is not RM quality
