VDV or Kaka? That is the question.

    ________________________________________________________________

    Key Players:

Xabi Alonso will be given time on the ball, which could be the key to unlocking Sporting's defence.

de las Cuevas is perhaps the most technical of his teammates.

So, Ramos is out for this one?

And Xabi would miss Getafe away if he gets carded in this one?

    Alonso better be careful.

I would rather prefer him to miss the game at Getafe then the derbi vs Patetico on the March 28th.

We have home games against Atleti and Barca coming up. This game, or the Racing game cushioned between the 2 crunch games of the league, would be ideal for him to miss. I'm hoping he picks up a booking in this one; the law of averages, you know??

I'm pretty confident Alonso will stay true to form and get a booking in this game :D

Does Alonso always pick up a booking when we're on ESPN HD in the US!? :D

I think the games Alonso hasn't been booked would be quicker to count than the ones he's received one. He and Ramos are a safe bet for a booking every week, no matter who broadcasts the game :D

Benzema will come from the bench, so no raul! Benzema did some light training with the team a few days ago.

    Subbed. ESPN? Finally!
Lets see Gago get some time as sub, and start the long road back to some sort of relevance.

I hear Ricardo won't be ready for this one, contrary to what I had red previously. Be nice to see Benzema back, and I agree, Alonso is a dead cert to pick up a yellow. I just hope he doesn't over do it in his quest for the yellow, that he then goes and receives a straight red :D.

A handball should do the trick quite nicely for Alonso methinks :D

I'm also interested to see Benzema return, let's see how he responds...

Extra points for not making it excruciatingly obviously.

P.s I missed an 'a' out in a word by mistake, I'm not really that dumb. You know, just putting that out there :D.

Shouldn't be too difficult, pick up a win here and then do it against Getafe.

I like the 4-2-2-2 formation: Iker - Arbeloa, Albiol, Garay, M. Alonso/Opare - Lass, Alonso - VdV, Marcelo - Higuain, Ronaldo. Karim unlikely to start though, since he just got back, and I think Ramos is suspended.

What do you lot think of the LB back options?

He's definitely ready to replace Ramos from what I've not seen of him.

    It's about time!

I'm not complaining but I love how they always show us beating up a team at the bottom of the table (Xerez, Zaragosa, etc) I hope they show El Classico

While it might be the first time you mentioned Opare, it's not the first time you've spoken out of your ass so surely you can understand our rage.
