Probably his only chance to win something in front of his people and the only time they can see him doing it.

Since his signing for Real Madrid, Cristiano's favorite team to score against has been Sevilla :D (16 goals)

    Finally. Some proper football.

Winning this doesn't really mean that much in the big picture but would hate to lose this.

Interesting to see the starting lineup.

I think DiMaria is out because of the injury he got in the WC. Is Fabio still injured? I know he was training away from the team earlier this week.

Di Maria is training with the team. I think he has recovered.

Never change, UEFA. Xabi runs on the field to the corner to celebrate with teammates after a goal is scored. Simeone, as a manager, throws a fit, tries to fight one of our players, nearly starts a riot, gets sent off.....same suspensions. Idiots.

That's like putting Harden, Kyrie, Melo, and Love in the same starting line up. I hope you realize what's missing. ;)

So we're going back to 4-2-3-1. I'm not sure I like the idea. It solves the problem regarding James though.

Bad idea to start two players in a one off final who had not played a single match this season , hope it is a 4-4-2 and not a 4-2-3-1 .

But who knows , we might end up playing champagne football annihilating Sevilla in the process .

Wouldn't surprised if we get to see something like this

    James -- Benzema -- Bale

    Khedira - Kroos - Modric

    Marcelo - Ramos - Pepe - Carvajal

    Navas
I don't know what Cristiano's coniditon is, but if he isn't fit to play I still expect him to play at least the second half. If he is fit, he'll start instead of Bale methinks

Bale is starting regardless of Ronaldo's fitness. He's in great shape and was our best player in preseason.
