These games wins us the title. Reminds me of the 2016-2017 season. And please, NO Lucas Vazquez anymore. Gave a good assist but he was so bad and almost gave them a 2nd goal.
Holy shit, entartaining second half. Very very important win ,we cant afford more bad results at home, the home games will decide the league IMO. Casemiro is having an incredible season.Militao was solid once again,Mendy is much better fit than Marcelo right now. Lucas is just terrible, one good croos doesnt change it...he is so bad at pretty much everything. Vinicius was very good...shame Kroos missed it could have given Vinicius a confidence boost with that assist.
I agree partly man. Rodrygo is still 19 years old. He was really bad this game but these are also really important matches for his development. Still his first season here and everything goes faster than expected. We need to be patient. Again, really bad game but we need to move on now.
Real Madrid’s midfield this season: Luka Modric - 5 Goals Toni Kroos - 4 Goals Casemiro - 4 Goals Federico Valverde - 2 Goals Isco - 1 Goal James Rodriguez - 1 Goal
Because we played so great today... You never know with zidane on his lineups. You might end up with Marcelo and LV in the lineup...
Anyone who thinks James wouldn't have at least if not more than 4 or 5 goals if the manager utilized him correctly, is insane, add to that we probably have a comfortable lead at the top of the table. Those "top" stats for Kroos and Modric are low numbers for James.
3 points against one of the leagues top 5 teams, with 5 or 6 fist team starters not playing. I’ll take that. Now for Granada to get a result tomorrow.
Lopetegui first question in presser is about VAR ruling out De Jong goal in first half "I protested and I've seen it again and still don't know what the ref saw."— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) January 18, 2020 That guy clearly looks up to see Militao following De Jong and obstructs his path Sevilla sporting director Monchi : “If they'd disallowed our second goal for a Munir handball, I would have gone down and taken the team off the pitch."
Real Madrid have lost just 2 of their first 28 games in all competitions this season. The second lowest number of losses after 28 games in the last 25 seasons.— Real Madrid Stats (@RMadrid_Stats) January 18, 2020
This is normal talk. Football from a managers and sporting directors point of view is a stressful business. If you can shift the light off yourself and onto the referee then almost every manager will do it without thinking. It’s nothing new. Gulliem Ballague was bringing basketball rules into his analysis as to why it wasn’t a foul earlier and he didn’t even understand the rule he was using as an example in the first place. Now that’s dumb af.
We never learn, really stupid. Does this guy even have a brain? This is like the 4rd time where we do this so obviously and then get a suspension of 2 games.
Real Madrid has gone 17 games without defeat. During this run, they have 12 wins, have scored 37 goals and conceded ONLY 8 goals. They also have 10 Cleansheets during this period. More cleansheets than goals conceded. Real Madrid have conceded just 0.62 goals per game in La Liga so far this season, their lowest goals conceded per game rate in 55 YEARS [0.60 in 1964/65].
How are they supposed to prove it??? Carvajal always takes his time and takes the ball with him after a foul when we lead. Not only this game. They can't be changing the goal posts just because he got his 5th yellow. If he gets more than a games suspension Perez should go down there and take RM out of the league. RFEF have done ridiculous things to us before but this would by far be the worst
Credit all around for this type of defensive productivity, but I’d like to give a special mention to the integration of Mendy and Militao during this run. Our young defensive signings are fitting in seamlessly
