We surpass Brest if we beat them and at least one out of Lille and Feyenoord so we are obviously going to climb alittle

I think Carlo is finally starting to find his XI. Ceballos and Asencio must play. Asencio is an Arbeloa RB but it's good to see he's reliable there.

The front three really haven't worked too well but in the last month all three are starting to round out their form. Wendy has summoned Rodrygo from the other side to start performing in the second half of the season. Mbappe and Rodrygo working really hard.

I have to say again Ceballos is the revelation. He has chemistry with players all around the pitch and works incredibly hard. I wonder how well he'll play with Tchouameni in case we need to use Fede at RB.

I think this is the usual Carlo 2nd half of the season where everything starts to pickup towards the business end of the season.

I would say promising times, but I'll reserve that until the team faces stronger opposition.

This stuff just feels like Madriditis to me. Really weak to see so many people constantly complaining about the referee and the media the whole time.

I don't know how to put this. It seemed that the sleeping dragon Real Madrid is about to wake up at least offensively. Both VJ and Mbappe are peaking at the right time.

Nevertheless, as widely acknowledged, our Achilles' heel remains our defense. I have doubts about Alaba making a substantial immediate impact after his prolonged absence. Yet, reintegrating Alaba could provide Carlos with an additional defensive option for his rotation strategy. I believe Alaba has the potential to transform the season even without extensive playing time. For instance, Carlos could experiment with Asensio in the right-back position. With two healthy centerbacks, it would be risky to turn one of them into rightback. With three centerbacks and Tchouaméni, he can do something.

Alaba's contribution this year is to give Rudiger rest in some matches.

    I hope, but doubt it.
Touche will be back to CB or CM as soon as he can. Alaba will play CB, not any other position.

And if he does that it’ll be a valuable contribution. Fingers crossed because Antonio could use it.
