Ive been a little unplugged this season, but im assuming Asencio wouldn’t even be starting for Castilla if Jacobo and Joan were both healthy. Glad to see him contribute, but I don’t think this solves the injury crisis there. We still have to act.
Yes but I'd rather see them given a chance rather then seeing a Frankenstein team with players playing out of position. No Tchouameni at CB or Camavinga at LB.
He was close to joining Girona. Club decided not to sell due to injury crisis. Known for his consistency and leadership in the academy team, Asencio has attracted interest from several clubs, including Girona, which was close to signing him during the summer. However, Real Madrid decided to keep him, betting on his potential and the need for solid alternatives in defense.
Definitely need 2 signings this winter....no way around it... ..Alaba expected at end of January maybe and in what condition ?
For what it's worth: Carlo promised changes and delivered. Bellingham sliding through, Mbappe falling back, Vinicius far more reminiscing of his old role.
I've definitely heard complaints about injuries from their side as well. There needs to be a good look at the technical aspect of the game.
Clean sheet and little danger from Osasuna.... good to see. Good goals from Jude and Vini. Sad for Rodrygo....was looking sharp. Militao...tragedy...probably end of season. And what does this mean for his career? Just sad. Kylian's been busy but needs to remember he's a 9. More runs off the ball please. Let's get Arda in for LV and put Fede at RB

🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid have suffered a total of 23 injuries this season. It’s November. pic.twitter.com/Y2khFkDBEL— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) November 9, 2024 Pintus and his staff can't hide from this. Needs answering.
Where it happened doesn’t necessarily mean that it wasn’t a consequence of playing on bad pitch before that.
Over-training. Body can only take so much, this is across all sports. With technology and advanced medicine one would think these athletes wouldn't be suffering such serious longterm injuries but here we are. It's across the board, there's no true off season anymore, these guys train hard year round. It all adds up.

Usually the same players re-injuring themselves to be honest. All these ACLs can't be Pintus' fault surely. Tchouaméni has had a foot problem for over 1 season and he keeps re-injuring it. Rodrygo is made of paper, Militao with ACL, Dani stopped getting injured when he changed his diet then broke his knee during a game etc etc
