I don't agree, but we don't get anywhere disagreeing. I think football practices a lot of archaic outdated methods. Also, there is no preseason at all. Just straight to stupid promo games with barely and work on conditioning and health.
🗣 Ancelotti: "Valverde was very good as RB." pic.twitter.com/Kqa1WUA1SF— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) November 9, 2024 Hmmmmm..
Don't even think about it, mister. Start Fortea or you're going to see people self-immolate in front of the Bernabeu at some point.
Militiao is done unfortunately. The youngsters has to play no excuses,Asensio etc just play them.... Tchoaumeni,Lucas etc all finished Fraudbappe SELL asap
You are right and I do agree with this. I consider football behind the times in pretty much every category in comparison to every other major sport out there. But these serious injuries are becoming common place across all sports here and there's got to be something to it. Also, the amount of games these athletes are expected to play is really becoming absurd and compounds the issue. But at the same time revenue has to come from somewhere to offset the massive salaries, so that's a two way street.
A few points: - While Fede at RB is logical, it is not ideal. His work-rate at CM/RCM is undervalued. Also, fatigue. The man is cooked physically, add to that whatever back injury he may/may not have.. - LV proved this season without a shadow of a doubt that he's awful. His contract expires this summer. No way should he get renewed. He stuck around not necessarily because he's a warrior but because Carlo had already made 2 changes, there is something about that 3rd change if it happened in 1H. - I liked Fran. Not the best but the guy barely gets minutes so positional awareness and chemistry was naturally off, still he's better than Mendy atm - Raul Asencio made good tackles and was there to address 2-3 f*ck ups from his teammates while wondering htf the 1st team defense trains
I’ll be back to making game threads after the international break. Needed this 4-0 to get me plugged back in
No. Mbappe has had more than enough time to get to where he needs to be at this point. The player is in his own head. Double clutching, trying to force the play, mistimed runs, heavy touches etc. He'll play himself out of it I'm sure, but for now that's the situation.
LV staying until HT was warrior mentality indeed. If we had made 3rd change in first half, any more injury in 2nd half would have meant RM couldn't use subs and will have to play the game with 10 men.
France is great at producing kick and rush players and Mbappe was the best of them. Everything he does looks awkward and like someone that needs a lot of space to operate.
The game was too early for but first thing I see when I wake up is news about Militao. How devastating smh. This might be it for his career.
An objective 8.3 match rating for an attacker with zero goals or assists is a good game, regardless of low expectations. Criticism, while obviously deserved, has started to veer a bit overboard. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1821550/Live/Spain-LaLiga-2024-2025-Real-Madrid-Osasuna
Camavinga was a joy to watch running around In the midfield. What a talent. Shout out to Lunin for that amazing long ball assist to Vini. Even Kroos would be proud of that. Best sub keeper indeed.
Who scored is pile of crap the amount of joke ratings they give to players on that best ignored. Not a chance that timo werrner performance from mbappe today was a 8.3 lol.
It tends to overrate goals/assists, but unlike posters here it is at least objective e.g. 35/38 passes, 6/12 successful dribbles.
It's crazy that Tchouameni was preferred to Cama by Carlo. Cama has had to work on calming himself defensively but he's still so much more effective at DM than Tchou. Let the kid play and work on his game. The upside for Cama is huge compared to mediocre Tchou.
Stats can be misleading, if you watched the game you'd see him "dribbling" then gifting the ball to Osasuna right way or shooting straight into Osasuna's defenders.
