My issue with Nico is that I think he needs to be more of a cm at the top level. In Castilla he often plays in the front 3 but the advantages he enjoys at that level playing in the front 3 do not directly translate to playing in the front 3 at the top level.

I think his future lies in more of a box to box mid. He has some similarities to Valverde.

Below average second half. We were pinned back for the most half until Paz' goal. Then Napoli sort of gave up.

Valverde and Rudiger with marvellous games. Kroos is ridiculous defensively and with Alaba and Mendy behind him that side is excruciating to watch.

Joselu good God, when he missed the last chance, everyone just felt sorry for him. Was about to cry when he scored. This must be mentally tough for him. This is a guy that would score a double from 2 half chances against us constantly. He is just going through a tough time infront of the goal right now but he is getting into very good positions.

We are doing really well as a team right now although we could do better in some aspects but it looks like a lot of players are going through a good run of form.

I think some think sub is a derogatory term; for me it's not, we have players who are subs who are very impactful and are very helpful over a season in terms of us meeting our objectives. We are really lucky to have guys who are subs that could go to other teams and start but chose to be here and help us make history.

The fact that after Joselu finally scored and onstead of celebrating like he was CR7 went to apologize to our fans almost in tears says everything about this player as a player and person and honestly after tonights game (after cussing him throughout) im now delighted to have him in our squad and hope he thrives and gets his 15 min of well deserved glory.

Anyone comparing him to hazard, mariano or our "worst ever forward", imo are dead wrong.

I did not want Joselu, but he convinced me. But he was getting my nerve throughout this match.... and I did not want to see him again. Then, he scored and his apologetic celebration really touched him. I just cannot hate him. He did his best in a situation where the team needed him.
