Vini is mentally shot at this point, he's drab and disinterested. If he doesn't get his head screwed around right, he's not getting anywhere near the €30m he's asking for.

Even from the CWC it was supposedly much better and different already with a clearly defined system of play and smarter players and so on, some want to see everything as vastly changed and better simply because it's no longer Carlo so .......let them be? to each their own...., i do believe this team will play better football, but they are not there yet, many players lacking rhythm, hot and cold, and some we just haven't seen play at all

Arda made that mistake today, but he's been fantastic in La Liga games. Franco is playing like a typical winger trying to take on the defenders almost always.

It's going to be 4-4-2 with Fede, Tcho, Arda, Jude, Vini/Rodrygo and Mbappe. Xabi used that system against Juve and Dortmund in CWC.

Yeah I wasn’t suggesting Franco is the better player, I just see him more fit for a central midfield role than Arda who is more fit to cover for Jude’s AM role

Franco seems like he would run more and carries the ball better

Could not agree more. I know that according to the rules, both are correct calls, but come on... It looks pathetic when a grown man just falls to the ground like being shot when slightly touched (our players are sometimes at fault for similar behaviour, especially Vini).

After 25 years of watching football i still can't tell when referee will reward a penalty for handball and that is so annoying. I was hoping VAR will change things but it doesn't look like it will help at all.

Regarding the match - I still can not see the hype regarding Guller. I know he had a bad match and that he was better during La Liga games, but I'm not convinced that he is the future of this team. I really hope that he proves me wrong.

I am also concerned about Fede, who still didn't found his footing in Xabi's system. But i think he just needs some rest...

 

Tibo should really stop. It’s the same players. At some point, we gotto hold these players accountable for their lack of effort. Sitting there and taking shots at your former coach every couple of weeks because your attacking friends are finally defending is pathetic
