That can be fixed if he's not missing any other fundamentals in his game.
    He's what, 80 kilos at 196???
    Needs to be like 90.

The fact that he’s 196cm and only 80kg is crazy to me, for a centre back especially. He’s 20, I don’t understand how he himself hasn’t realised he needs to beef up by now.

According to Google at least. He looks like a twig.

I'd rather talk to Goretzka's pharmacist.

Goretzka lost a lot of that muscle. Coincidentally his form picked up after. I feel like if being totally musclebound would be beneficial to the sport a lot more players would be.

Most team's worry is that they keep the weight of the players down actually, but that's more due to dietary choices.

Less weight is better for the joints and tendons. Especially with the amount of torque they go through

Best general football build is similar to pro swimmers imo.

Players have been getting thinner by average by the way, it's something i looked in out of interest to explain some injuries.

The weight average at each position has mostly stayed the same, but players are becoming taller. Looking at Recoba highlights made me realize that this guy would've been labeled fat by todays standards even at his peak.

Does that include their entire body or just specific muscles or parts of the body?

I don't see any benefit of Goretzka having arms like that but I think it could definitely be beneficial to have a jacked back and shoulders as that helps one run and hold off challenges.
