    Pretty sure it was Brahim.

I don't think people should be underestimating Brahim in this forum any longer.

We played against one of the worst teams in the country. Also, the guy people wanted to see benched in his favor is Rodrygo who's pure fire himself right now.

I just love the way Brahim plays -- that fight, pace, dribbling, strength, and passion. Becoming one of my favorite players. I hope we hang on to him.

Hmmm pretty sure Brahim was sh!t, what happened there?? :whistling:

Without the heavy squad injuries the kid would have filled in for Eden on the bench..

I'm ecstatic that Rodrygo is performing consistently, now it's imperative that he steers clear of injuries..

Oh and Joselu is a Segunda tier striker..

Except Diaz has been impressive with every chance he's received, he's a very good player tbh and as a package I'd take him over Asensio any damn day.

PS I find it strange that Asensio hasn't thrown a fit at PSG yet, I'd like to see him to kick seats and water bottles in front of Enrique.

I don't put Ronaldo down to praise somebody else, I can do it without any reason at all.

He has enough people that kiss his feet regardless. He will survive my snarky comments here and on social media.

    3 points. We move.

    Hope Dani is fine.
Tchouameni shouldn’t be too far off.
    Arda is training.

Leaders and waiting for Atletico handle their business today.
    Hala Madrid!

I enjoyed Brahim kept switching sides with Rodrygo. It was something that VJ and Rodrygo could not do.

A draw is a better result for us, I get a sense Atletico will be our main competitor in La Liga and not Barcelona, Girona could also go all the way but do they have the resilience?

First, IMO This isn’t true, second, in the end the coach decides how the team should play not the players, I wouldn’t want players randomly running where they feel like on the pitch although that’s what some accuse Carlo of having the team do anyway, third, to be honest we want Vin on left, he is a real difference maker there and Rodry is just fine on the right, they have still always combined well and done well

Not meaning to be petty but no he has not, he already had a stinker of a game that he started but he’s human, it happens, although some seem to think every player should be fantastic every game
The same that was thought of Rodrygo before he started scoring that being the case I imagine you can answer your own question

We can just be happy to have such a talented contributor in Brahim on the bench, and ready to start games when the regulars are injured or need a rest. It's an amazing luxury to have. I said it before the season, he's a good player and I expected him to contribute in a positive way. I'm glad he's doing just that, fantastic option to have. Good luck to him!

We know what Brahim is. If he plays like this against all the Granadas of the world. It's a win.

Rodrygo was $h!t before he started to score. Which was absolutely true.

    It's called form.

He's the perfect role player. Every great team needs to have players like him that can come off the bench and change games and step in for injured players for stretches at a time. Glad to have him back in this role, but he's not going to be more than that, and if he accepts that, he will have a long career at Real Madrid.

Good thing is his contract runs till 2027 so it's really irrelevant what he really wants, he's most likely in the Isco position where he plays whenever we've got injuries or multiple game weeks.

By the point that his contract is running out he'll be 28 and we'll have a much better picture of what's going on.
