We better not play Casimero against Valencia, knowing our luck he will get a yellow against them 100%.

MOTM today between Varane and Fede.

    Yep, Valverde MOTM for me.

Also, even thought this might've been one of the worse matches by Benz this season he still assists and scores LMAO.

Solid game, good win. Militao easy can play LB,no worries here. But Casemiro must not play vs Valencia.

Away to Mestalla has given us as much trouble as the Camp Nou in recent years. Both are worth 3 points. Casemiro has to play.

Vinicius and Valverde were the best,Vinicius should play against Valencia and Barcelona we need speed and dribling.
Mendy was awful, cant do anything in attack and doing stupid fauls in defence...i agree that we should start Carvajal at left back and Militao on the right.

Brugge is next and players like Jovic,Vinicus,Brahim,Odriozola,Mendy,Militao and Casemiro should start, they need minutes or most likely wont play against Valencia(Casemiro and Mendy).
    Good result

btw we should not forget that Valencia will be playing a very tough game against Ajax away in the CL so we may have some advantage next weekend

Casemiro without a yellow. So what exactly is the plan here? He is not playing vs. Valencia - but then why not get a yellow and burn that suspension? He is playing vs. Valencia? Should we take such a massive risk?

true but then again every game is 3 points a must win until we mathematically clinch the title, and as evidenced by today none of them are a given but if I’m prioritizing which game to have him in it would be the one at the Camp Nou.

Benzema and Valverde motm. 1st half was pretty bad. 2nd things improved imo.

Ref was very annoying. Español was ver annoying.

Mestalla and campy nou next... Gonna be tough. But we have improved a lot. We can do this.

No way Casemiro walks out of that fixture without a yellow. I rather lose him against Valencia than vs. Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Zidane is going to take that risk. There’s no way we go to Valencia with him on the bench.

even with Casemiro on the pitch it is very likely that we will lose the Clasico,so probably Zidane is thinking why we should not play him against Valencia and risk 2 losses in a row.....maybe its better to play him and try to win atleast at the Mestalla .

Good win. This is the type of match we would have easily lost points on last season. Karim has become a true striker....scores very consistently....meaning we can play pretty average sometimes and still win (a luxury we had lost when Ronaldo left).

3 points. That's all that matters. I want this damn league title!!

Against barca i’d go for the diamond, play Vini and Benz on top and crowd the middle with isco, valverde kroos and case (or lukita). We will control the midfield and can hurt them with vinnies speed on the break.

    Valverde man.....

This guy IS what Pogba shouldve become.

Is there a single thing he doesnt do at high level? Hustles like crazy and not in a "headless chicken" way either. Passing top notch, short or long, making the correct choices also more often than not. Then there are those line breaking vertical runs. Definitely the biggest suprise of the season.

Its basicly Casemiro - Valverde and Kroos or Modric for the MF. Amazing breakout season.

Who would've thought after the disaster that was last season that we finally found the key to our midfield troubles without having to break the bank for Pogba. Can't believe neither Solari nor Lopetegui realised this. Might have saved their positions

no Solari knew he was good and did play him sometimes but you can’t just throw someone in and play him every game, it can be damaging
Zidane had no choice the usual just 3 were not working could have even got him the sack, if playing bad and losing games.

No need for Pogba. Valverde gives you everything Pogba gives you with more effort and without the diva attitude.

    Missed game, watching highlights.

What the fk is that kit we were wearing today? That is the ugliest shirt i have ever seen, even worse that the worst Barca shirt.

Boring second half, but who cares when you win. I'll take this and the 3 points and move on.

Vinicius showed off some improved decision making in the final 3rd. His best game in a RM shirt. Controlled without losing what makes him special.

Rodrygo had a pretty pedestrian game on the other hand.

Valverde is a beast, Casemiro survives another close game, although I have nightmares about the Valencia game.

Good start to the weekend. Close out the year the right way.
