Could’ve sworn I already mentioned that. I like posting on RedCafe, visit some other forums as well but no accounts there
Didn't get to watch it live because I was on a flight. Got to see the highlights and man do they have me excited about this season!

Lots of work to be done but that second half was fun. My biggest takeaway: if we can avoid major injuries and get this version of Bellingham in April we will be unstoppable. Need to keep him healthy and fresh. He’s the key IMO.
The right side did not look dead when so many left wing-forwards played on the same field. Both VJ and Mbappe were drifting toward that side. Or did my TV screwed up and play the game upside down.
These guys are all football smart, technical, quality players who so far seem to mostly leave their egos at the door, they will work it out
The true test when it comes to egos is when the team is having a tough time or a losing stretch. So far it has been outstanding.
First couple of minutes in the game I see a blonde #8 sprint after a ball and I thought to myself damn what rejuvenation voodoo did Kroos use over the summer? Only for me to remember it's Fede
Second half was great once Bellingham connected the dots upfront, but the midfield duo looks a bit thin. There will be games when those upfront will see much less of the ball, and it'll be interesting to see how Ancelotti will address that. Mbappe looks a bit rough around the edges and dare I say a tad slower?
i do also have one in redcafe but i generally respond to that forum in a different way for those non-Madrid fans and treat this forum more friendly
Good to see Militao play at full pace after ACL. He predictably looked slower last season. Been looking close to pre-injury Militao from Copa America onwards.
Everyone knew this would be the case and there was nothing to worry about. The counter narrative came from those that just scaremonger and push their anxiety onto others, and then those strange posters that don’t back our players and just want their faves to play for us
Also, what a game, we looked so good going forward at times. And Bellingham looked a different level, even from last season.
The good thing is that these are all young players that can share space. If you're a defender you might face Bellingham Vinicius or Mbappé because they change up so fast on a situational basis.
Nah, for me I see the real test is after the team wins everything in one or two years. Let's see if egos come into play.
