Does anyone know if Real Madrid plan on bringing all their top players when the come to America in July to play? Tickets are quite expensive, and I would hate to pay that kind of cash to watch the Real Madrid reserves and youth players.

I spoke with the head of media relations at the Galaxy today and he said that they will have their "full roster" here but they are not going to promise anything concerning who plays and who doesn't.

I would think that (barring any injuries) Beckham will play. He loves the USA and would like to make a good impression here.

I would be willing to bet that Ronaldo doesn't play more than 45 minutes, but really, who knows?

Ronaldo is "old hat" these days - he will be lucky to make the Brazil WC side.

well, he MADE the Confederations cup side but asked for a break. So they put Adriano in for him. This is hardly the same as "lucky to make the Brazil WC side". If he wants to be there, he will be there.

but the only reason becks didnt play in that match was because Real didnt release him despite him reaching a yellow card limit so that he could go with England and play in that match.

It's preseason, three weeks before their season starts, they'll have everyone there barring injury. Now how much they actually play is another story

and of course, we all saw how potent brazil's attack was against argentina without ronaldo playing.

oh well, maybe you guys didnt see it, but adriano played like conor casey, only he didnt get injured. and ronaldinho can't do it all himself.

ronaldo can/must/will be on the brazil WC roster

So what did Ronaldo achieve last season at Real, particularly the most relevant in terms of form during last half of the season

Of course those that "know" soccer can fall back on history, but history in sports doesnt score many goals does it? :)

    Ronaldo is still Brazil's first-choice center-forward.

Adriano is proving to be a very good strike especially with his recent performance in the Confederations Cup. Do you think Ronaldo could hold his position over the next year?

i think Ronaldo it's a better player overall...Adriano just can't do ANYTHING with his right leg...he always has to move the ball and dribble to his left so he can kick those bombs...

Yes. Adriano will partner Ronaldo. But if Parreira goes back to using only one, it will be Ronaldo.
