Except for the Barca game we play all our tough away fixtures ( Sevilla, Atletico, Valencia & Villarreal ) in the 2nd half of the season.

Yeah, I don't like that. I want to go to one of the bigger games and they all seem to be in the first half of the season.

Our final 5 games will include the Classico, away at Valencia, away at Sevilla, Getafe and away at Villarreal. Tough fixtures tbh.

    Very very tough ...
But if we can take healthy lead in the first half, who cares about those ;)

Tbh, awful schedule. How did it happen that last 4 away games are the toughest teams in La Liga?

If we progress to the latter stages of the Champions League or Copa Del Rey then the list becomes more problematic. It's obviously ideal not to have crunch Champions League ties sandwiched in between difficult away trips domestically.

However, if we crash out early again (touch wood) then I wouldn't be overally concerned. We beat Atleti (not suprisingly) and Villareal away last season. We absolutely battered Athletic for 90 minutes but it was just one of those games. No doubt Sevilla will play their finest game of the season against us, but other than that I wouldn't be too concerned. That is, of course, if we haven't progressed far in other competitions.

If we progress far in the CL and Kings cup. These matches will be re-scheduled which could also work in our favour.

I don't think it will change so drastically. I've heard of the occasional Friday game or perhaps an early kick-off on a Saturday evening but I don't think they'll make wholesale changes of switching fixtures or bringing them forward. That's normally reserved for involvement in the European Supercup or the Intercontinental Cup.

This schedule is awful. Sevilla, Villereal and Valencia away in like the last 5 games is bs.

You see, now you've made a smart post. Well done.

A dumb post would have been for you to say "who cares, but barca blah blah" or "who cares, just win all our games because you know, this is playstation and it's so easy".

I hate the fact that we always play the first Clasico at the Camp Nou. We haven't had a chance to play Barca at the Bernabeu first since 2006-07.

Not too bothered about the tough fixtures at the end. The key is to take a good lead in the first half of the season unlike last two seasons where we were trailing Barcelona by Christmas. Barcelona had Espanyol, Sevilla, Madrid, Villarreal away in the final weeks last season but managed to protect their lead. Also our team would have had more time to gel by the time we play these tough teams.
