I hope that we as a forum are not intimidated about starting game threads based on some sort of eye candy standard.

I like the way J Ramos is looking at the cantera. And certainly Schuster had lost the dressing room. But this is not going to be an easy game for J Ramos. Valencia's morale is high.

Villareal to beat Barcelona this weekend and us to beat Valencia... cut that lead back down to single digits.

I was feeling it, but i didn't wana jinx it by saying it out loud. Guess its too late for that now.
Expect Barca to win it 2-0.

I wonder how Salgado and Metzelder will do considering they played not that badly against barca. My only worry is containing Villa. I predict a win though, 4-2.

    LOL, you too 4x4s?

This is going to be a tough one, I really hope Canna passes fit for the match. This week is completely up in the air for me, who knows how we'll come out. We do really need these three points, though.

Ramos has done and said all the right things so far, and like Lockjaw said he's infusing the first team with some young, hungry youth teamers which changes the team dynamic a bit and livens things up on the practice field. That said, good vibes are great and all, but we've got to start racking up the wins in order to sustain that feeling.

And please Juande, leave Sneijder out if he's not ready...and don't let Robben warm up at al, just throw him out there and let him rip.

    Worst thread EVER. :p

I will only post 50 more times in it. But let the record show that i do so under protest. (and more importantly, because of fear of lockjaw.)

Our boys need to win this one. Obviously because we need the 3 points but also because i don't wanna sit on a loss through the winter break. Its just demoralizing.

Villareal to beat barca as well. So that the madrid press can start giving stats like how the gap is coming down at 3 points a week. :D

Alright people, this will be my first ever game at the Bernabeu and I fully expect El Madrid to win convincingly.

    Just because.

    Wow, good for you!
Make sure you give us all a nice big post-match report when you have time.
Enjoy yourself, and get us that Win, even if you have to get down on the pitch and score yourself. :D

    Backline would probably be:
    Salgado---Metzelder---Cannavaro---Marcelo

I'd be tempted to start Torres if he is fit enough.

Id start robben, palanca and higuain on the attack. Raul has had a cold and haven't been able to train.

This game is a MUST win by all circumstances, if we don't win then time to focus entirely on the champions league, its that easy win or bye bye.

Actually, Marcelo marked Joaquin out of the match where we won 5-1 away last year. Plus, I don't think Joaquin is the player he used to be.
