I think soon we would be running out of superlatives in describing your threads.......BRILLIANT is all I can say.....hope our performance matches the quality of your thread......& I have a feeling that it will..... ( once again) CLEAN SHEET please........& 3points to go with it of course....
And the regular service resumes... So, I expect my cheque by Monday morning, for filling in for you nuff. lol
^As far as I know only Javi Garcia(clause) and Puñal cannot play Not so fast. I'm still on semi vacation about to go on another vacation. You'll get THIS after the new year
You do spend time for each posts. How much time did you spend to come up with that cheque? And you must be pretty good in math too.
Yeah no portillo. And robbne will have fitness test tomorrow to see how he is. Man that guy is unlucky or he is made of glass
Portillo is able to play (though it seems he will be on the bench)...however javi Garcia and juanfran are not allowed to play. (Unless osasuna pay us a lump of cash...which is not likely)
so its a definite that robben isnt going to play, or will he at least be on the roster sheet come game day? maybe he skipps this one and starts in the copa del rey match
Great thread. Coincidentally, a friend from my soccer team asked me if I could photoshop a santa hat onto him for a Christmas stamp he was having printed and I took the hat from the exact same photo you did. You have good taste in Santa hats.
Nice little quote from Portillo this morning.... "I would like to score a goal for my team and myself, but if I score I won't celebrate it because I have a great respect for the fans in the Bernabeu. When I played there, they always gave me a lot of affection and I haven't forgotten that." I will let others, less worried about tempting fate, comment on the chances of him scoring. ...but it would be a nice gesture anyway,
So any word on whether Robben will be fit to play? or is he being kept in cotton wool for the el classico? I guess if he is only going to play 8-10 matches a season they might as well be the important ones. Also keep an eye out of Carlos Vela he's supposedly the next young gem that Wenger has discovered and poached for the gooners he's been loaned out to Osasuna for the season.
Vela played for Valladolid last season if I'm not mistaken. He was the 'other' star in the Mexican youth system that featured Dos Santos.
Brilliant stuff as usual nuff! Can't wait to see your thread for the Barcelona match. Since it's a home game, I'm going to say 3-0 again. Raul, Robinho and Ruud to score!! Yeap, I'm an optimist! Hope we'll bring some momentum forward for the big match.
There are no easy game in La Liga. I just hope the team does not overlook this match and lose focus due to the big match next weekend. It happened a few weeks ago against Murcia when the midweek CL match was around the corner.
Heinze back to squad. Figure Schuster may give him sometime on the LB to see if he's fit and gel with the team for the el clasico. Robben out due to injury.
