Every REC team that has won their division has been invited to this tourney. It covers all of the NTSSA (North Texas State Soccer Assoc) area. It is huge!!!! In 1 age group alone there can be 50-60 teams. This could be a great way to get the FC DALLAS/Inferno name out there. It is spread out all over the Dallas area. It ought to be good and COLD!!!!!!! My boys are in the U10 division for GSSA. There are some amazing young players that will be the up and comers in the next several years.
Also, the teams are divided into different Divisions in each age group. This way a team from a small town will compete in a Division of Champions from similar sized small towns. If there is 5 divisions in an age group then you have 5 State Champs in that age division. Division one is for rec teams from Associations like, for example, Richardson and Plano. Another example, say you're from a larger association, but there are only a couple of girl teams in your age group , girls teams are new there, and your team is very inexperienced. You could most likely get in a lower division. If you go to the NTSSA website there should be considerable information on this tournament.
