Betis signed Getafe midfielder Mario Alvarez to a 2 year contract today, he will officially be presented at a Tuesday news conference.

    Pre-Season Schedule update for Betis

Looks like Betis will be playing against newly promoted EPL team Swansea in a friendly on 6 August which means that Betis will not be playing in this years Trofeo Carranza!

Two other Beticos are leaving: Israel and Razak. Israel Bascon who spent 11 years in the Betis organization (Betis B and Betis) decided not to renew his contract and is exploring possibly signing with RCD Espanyol. Razak who was on loan to Betis from Ecija FC was the goal keeper for the Betis B team although he did play with Betis a couple of games this year.

So the list looks like this so far:

    In

Francisco Javier Chica Torres "Chica" from RCD Espanyol (4 years)
Pedro Mario Alvarez "Mario" from Getafe (2 years)

    Out
    Belenguer (Contract Expired)
    Israel (Contract Expired)
    Razak (Loan Not Renewed)
