the only 'honest' member on the Reagan staff. he actually wanted to evoke the 25th amendment b4 Nancy had him 86'd, because he knew Reagan, showing early signs of Alzheimer’s, had lost his capacity to perform the duties of the executive.

In an interview w/ Regan for the frontline series on Reagan, he indicated how much head butting Nancy did w/ the Whitehouse staff. Nancy really ran the show behind closed doors as far as who could get close to Ronnie and what he did daily, esp. after he was shot.

I wonder if she didn't have her producer dad give that out of work B-actor a job hosting the GM show, where he formulated his conservative stance, after previously being a New Deal Democrat from the heartland.

has anyone read that 800pg factual fiction biography about him on here? I was hoping they'd turn it into a film.

Let me qualify this in saying I loath hitlery as much as the next dittohead, but all that stuff about her being the real power was overblown. there was a conflict in styles, Clinton, much like Ronnie, liked to win people over by force of personality, their 1st ladies were more domineering.

Hillary had her own separate staff entirely and ran the moles from the prev GOP admins out of dodge. Both sought to protect their husbands from their transgressions(w/ willy fornication & ronnie a short attention span, fabricated stories and aversion 2 details) by surrounding them w/ loyalist they could control.

After Hillary's handling of the universal healthcare fiasco, the travel gate, the whitewater shreddings, the insider trading of pork bellies, & the tax underreporting, she took a back seat approach. Nancy, I would say was less politically astute and was rumored 2b anorexic & VERY moody. She much like Hitlery, also had an extensive wardrobe of designer dresses. She was known to sit in on many meetings and high securtiy briefings too. Franks tried that and almost lost his army post.

both were highly divisive, as you either hated or loved 'em, w/ no middle ground. But at least hitlery was Willy's 1st wife, while Nancy, had a whole other Reagan ex-family to deal w/.

BTW, I'd pay money to catch those old playboy of patty davis posing, but you couldn't drag me kicking to see poor Chelsea.
