Reading really needs to win this one, do some catching up, mind you Wigan is in first place

I wonder if Rico Clark is in the stands watching this one.

Considering his last game was against the #26 team in the world, not sure what Rico could learn from watching this one. :)

Might be wrong, but isn't his two matches in a row where no subs were used for Reading?
    If so...wow, that's interesting.

Again, not sure, but would be very interesting sign form the coach.

    Nope...
In the last game against Nottingham Forest, Reading used 2 subs...
    Their lineups were...

    Reading:
Hahnemann, Murty, Shorey, Ingimarsson, Sonko, Harper, Sidwell, Morgan, Hughes, Owusu (Little 65), Kitson (Brooker 68)

Subs not used: Young, Newman, Convey

And for what it's worth, in the previous game against Cardiff, he also used 2 subs... Brooker on in the 75th and Convey in the 80th minute

for what it's worth, Bobby warmed up on the touchline to perfection.

When his name was announced on the subs list, he still got a cheer, same as everybody else.

Marcus got away with a pretty horrendous error, taking a free tick from the touchline, he miskicked it badly to a wigan player in the centre circle. Luckily the shock of getting this gift pass made him hit it first time and he put it wide from 50 yards. Had it gone in people would not have been happy. I, on the other hand, met up with bigsoccer member Gina K in Athens last week, so Marcus could have kicked seven into his own net and I'd still have been smiling.

The worst thing about that game, is Hughes was a total waste of space on the left, his touch was terrible, he couldn't cross the ball, and was seemingly invisible, so either Coppell was just afraid to change things up, or Convey is in the doghouse.

We shoulda won this game with all the early chances we had :( although to be fair, Reading did have many chances too and forced Filan into 2 stunning saves!

I think its that Coppell was afraid to change things up. Shaun Goater was supposed to play in a Carribean Cup competition for Bermuda over the last 10 days. He was told to stay at Reading after Kitson was injured. He called the National Team coach the day before the team was to link up at JFK and said he couldn't come because he was needed for the Wigan match.

Not only did he not start, but there were no subs. Bermuda crashed out of the competition to lower ranked sides - St. Kitts was one. Needless to say its been on the front pages down here.

Coppell seems to be riding his horses and Bobby isn't one of them.
