Mexico must be able to make more money playing in LA than they do in Mexico itself.

You should thank them, if their fans want to donate money to make the USMNT better that's cool with me; the USSF does get a cut of all tickets and so does Felipe.

It's almost like we have a second national team!

Perhaps we can setup up a WWE type rivalry between the good guys and bad guys...

    YEAH!

    Very true!

Can we have prematch trashing talking??

Hopefully Mexico can come and play a few games at Soldier Field. Those are always fun. Speaking of which why has the USMNT never played at Soldier field? I never understood that considering that USSF headquaters is across the street from SF.

Mexico will probably jack up the prices for Home Depot matches to jaw-dropping levels. If a certain percentage of that goes to the USSF bank account -- well, how do you say "laughing all the way to the bank" in Spanish?

The only thing the last one needs is popular attention. And it's coming, slowly but surely, on this side of the border.

I don't think we need to make such a big deal about beating Mexico in the future. We need to set our sights on Brazil and Argentina.

The best 'coloquialism' would be, probably:

    "INCHANDOSE LOS BOLSILLOS DE LANA..."

    Re: YEAH!

The US has played at Soldier Field. We played Germany in 1993, Portugal there in 1992, and, I think, Italy also in 1992.

    no doubt.

i dont wanna get in to a politics discussion here but i am an architect and we deal with many, many mexican's on our construction job sites as laborer's and let me tell you something...they are the hardest working SOB's this side of taiwan. they arrive when the sun comes up and dont leave until the sun sets. and their lunch break lasts about a whole 10 minutes...

you cannot find an american citizen who would work that hard for a $10 dollar an hour wage, they would rather collect unemployment and sit on their a$$ watching their cable television that the unemployment check pays for.

so i say thanks to mexicans who are here!

    Yep-
Great people, good hard workers for the most part.

Also have way too many kids for the most part, back off the throttle on the overpopulation.

"Ok my comment was stupid....But True!!! Why dont we ever have US games with Pro US cities or crowds? Besides the Columbus game when we beat Mexico....AGAIN!!"

because the ussf is trying to make the sport grow AND MAKE MONEY!

they play a latin team in a city full of latin people, the crowd will be good thus they will make money. Imagine playing mexico in a place like utah instead of la, where the game might draw 20k fans instead of 50k in la.

its all about attendance and money. Plus if the u.s wins the game it wins fans along the way.

You sure have a funny way of NOT starting a political discussion and you show a profound lack of understanding of how the unemployment insurance system works.
I say welcome to anyone who's gone through the system and is here legally and arrest and deport the illegals like the common parasitic criminals they are.

Ok yes we shouldn't get into politics :

fact: newcomers bring in $25 billion net revenue annually; but realistic statisticians conclude that they cost the United States over $40 billion a year and that in California, each illegal immigrant will take $50,000 in services from the state beyond what he will contribute in taxes during his entire lifetime. One study suggests that the average California household must contribute at least $1,200 each year to subsidize the deficit between what these immigrants cost in services and what they pay in taxes.

    Here are statistics just released:

The uninvited who have flooded into California have all but filled our newly built prisons; nearly one quarter of the inmates are from Mexico.

Nearly a third of all drug trafficking arrests involve illegal aliens.

The Labor Department attributes 50 percent of real wage declines to the influx of cheap immigrant labor.

The going wage is $8.00 per hour in California, $8.00 a week in Mexico. But that's only the beginning. These "guests" use their counterfeit documentation to get workers' compensation, unemployment insurance and state assistance, meanwhile romanticizing Mother Mexico while chastising Lady Bountiful America.

Surprise! The second generation has learned how to live, spend and consume as Americans – but not, like their fathers, to work and save as Mexicans. If rising crime rates, gang activity and illegitimacy are any indication, they resent rather than sacrifice to escape poverty.

Isn't most of their money sent home anyway

Not that anybody is going to listen to me, but how far off topic is this getting? I'm all for ripping on Mexicans, but this wasn't posted to World Rivalries.

I was looking for opinions on the Mexican National Team playing 20 matches in the US over the next 4 years.

    Discuss.
