Yeah, i want to make this point the center of this friday's draft selection. My guess is that Johnny Walker and Joselito Vaca will be Chivas.

Antonio de la Torre seems the most inevitable Chivas to me. His dad and his uncle played for CDG.

for Chivas is easy, just pick the hispanic names but i don't think they will pick Walker as many predicting, goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera rumored to be moving to Los Angeles so i say Chivas will pick a cheep $ keeper for back up.

Anyone doing a PBP? I'm stuck at work so can't watch on TV. The draft tracker on MLS sux, but looks like Chivas picks Orlando Perez from Chicago in round 2. Fire protected Whitfield after Williams was picked, and now protect Buete.

PBP would be great as tht draft tracker does indeed suck. Did DJ Countess goe as the 3rd pick?

The feed is actually behind the draft tracker, though.

They got a live Windows media feed on MLSNET, if that's an option.

    DJ Countess to RSL.

I guess the unsuccessful Fire of '04 had some desireable talent on their bench.

The Fire are now done getting looted.

Draft tracker has Salt Lake taking Williams in Round 1, Countess in Round 3, and Brenes in Round 4.5

Chivas takes Torres in Round 1, Perez in Round 2, and Hendrickson in Round 3.5.

    And Real takes Pablo Brenes.

Metros protect Zach Wells. Once again...why?

I guess this is a definite "F-you" to Jonny.

Why the hell do you possibly protect Zach Wells? Are they actively trying to get rid of Vaca and Walker without any compensation?

There has to be some reason why they protected Nelsen. Perhaps there is hope that he will return.

I would just like to note that the coverage of this on espnews is excellent.

really excellent coverage and exposure for the league.

don't know how many people watch espnews on a friday afternoon, but this has been really solid up to this point.

other than Checketts' awful joke about Andy Williams making good music in SL.
