#29 who is pictured on the stationary bike and also has his back pictured in another photo might be McKinley Tennyson. He appears to have shaved his head, a change from the cornrows he sported last season. #1(blue bib) who is shown in a couple of photos looks like Lawrence Smalls a defender drafted last year out of UC Irvine. He played with the O.C. Blue Star ( Galaxy Reserves) last year. He looked like a smooth outside back with a bit of pace to go with his class. Mind you, he was playing against PDL caliber opposition so I don't know how that would translate against MLS opposition. Hopefully these two are kept by the team. I think there is an outside chance for both of them to make the team if the developmental slots have been increased. I read somewhere that they were increased from 4 to 6 openings. With veteran Developmental players earning slightly more than the $850 a month that rookie Developmental players would earn.
Wrong on #29. It's Ricky Lewis a P-40 player from this year's draft. Tennyson is currently training with the f'ing Smurfs and will be stolen by some other team in a supplemental draft or more likely will return to Portland because he actually wants to make money playing soccer. Right on #1. That is Smalls. I wouldn't read anything into his being at practice since he has been a regular practice squad player for a couple of years now and the Gs were missing 6 starters (Ruiz, APC, Califf, Hartman, Vagenas and Victorine).
