Either this group of players can’t play a system that is drilled into them every day in training, or they just simply don’t want to do it.

Those guys don't do triangulation. It's a back-and-forth, waiting for someone to decide on their own. With a very deep defensive line, Mbappé has no way to exploit space. You have to approximate and triangulate

 

Get Trent on and move Fede to midfield. We lose a lot in midfield by not having him there.
