This is indeed pathetic from a league that wants to compete with the Premier League. At no point there was any penalty decision against us though.

 

Rewatched the game.

The best player at Real Madrid in terms of who seems to understand the game the most imo is Arda. Dude makes the best decisions on the ball...passes when he needs to, shoots when he can...doesn't force anything and plays for the team.

We have more talented players and more gifted players physically, but imo he has the best football brain by far. If this guy keeps improving, we're set.

Jude is also an amazing team player with the effort and the extreme talent....although he gets caught up sometimes and forces the dribbling.

I hope Xabi centers our game around those those two. I have no concern about Mbappe....if you keep feeding him, he'll score.

Going from football geniuses like Luka, Kroos, Benz and Casemiro (absolute elite understanding of the game) to this is hard.... Xabi needs to invest in the right guys we have and the club needs to back him with a couple of starter calibre signings asap.

 

This team couldn't beat Liverpool. A team that is 8th in the prem and seems to be handing out good results to everyone.

 

I didn't think the ref would have the cajones to call it and decide the match, but the pull down of Mbappe in the final minute was a shout. Definitely seen penalties given for that.

 

That was a pen dude. Unless it is now legal to bearhug an offensive player to the ground. Didnt even get a VAR review.
