If you gonna be racist at least be creative like this guy..
Can't we all just along..?
Wow, what a moran...
I didn't consider Orvañanos' comment racist, just a bad joke. And besides...
.....Just think what you just said.
Exactly!! That commentator should not be heard in the US! I dont care what he says in mexico but sometimes I get so sick of that commentator that I which to a english one.
It was a bad joke and if it really bothers you that much, send an email to FOX Sports.
I don't know what you expect us to do about it.
exactly! i didn't find anything racist at all in what he said. just a stupid joke
people can be so sensitive at times
You should re-think what you said
So what if Bolaños is dark.
Are Argentine commentators racists because they call Hugo Ibarra el negro?
Is Robin Williams racist for calling Obama a dark Kennedy?
Of course they are not they are just referring to a physical trait.
I think you still have this engraved notion that calling someone dark is an insult. To be fair you are not the only one.
It was a stupid joke, that you are reading too much into. You thought that by implying that the other guys conscience was as dark as Bolaños then that was an insult to Bolaños. He was trying to make a point about the other guy and used Bolaños he could have used a black door or a black car or the dark clouds in the sky.
Racism is believing that someone is superior to someone else because of skin color. The monkey chants in Spain for example is racism.
Saying someone is dark is not racism unless they imply that one is less human or not capable of doing the same things as others because of it.
He is on the broadcast because 90 percent of fox sports viewers in the US are Mexican thats why. They are catering to their audience and saving cost since they don't have to pay for another crew to do the games instead just get the feed directly from Mexico.
He just signed a 3 year extension with Fox so I guess you have to live with him.
Where were you when he was on Guerron's jock during LDU's Libertadores run. If anything I think he rooted for LDU against Fluminense in the final. THey even went as far as to go to Ecuador for the final, they usually get the Argentine feed once the Mexican teams are out, but didn't in this case.
This joke is mild compared to the stuff I hear Fernando Schwarz say.
oh god i once heard that dude say that baloy was el rey chocolate no shit!
Lets learn from our best friends..
all that aside... lets kick this thread to the curb here in the footie section or move it to NSR
