Looks like he only lasted 20 minutes? Maybe he won’t play again at a top level.

Easy there, shit man it’s his first minutes. At least give him preseason before rushing to judgment.

I'm assuming they're gonna bring him in really slowly. There's no reason to rush him in a meaningless game. Let him get his feet wet and go from there.

Looks like he played 30 minutes and hit the post, not bad.

Just saying, maybe he needs more time to recover or he gets excruciating head pain when his heart is pumping. I guess we will see how he is in December.

He hasn’t played a full 90 minute game in like 8 months and I’m sure he hasn’t done much cardio during that time. It’s going to take him maybe all preseason to get back in shape.

I think he probably has worked out like mtherfcker but they’re not going rush him.

How do you watch those highlights and say he’s lost it at the top level? Thought he was good.

Ofc, if Wolves’ plan for the season is to have Fabio Silva as the last man up top, the team’s going to struggle to score.

His passing looked rusty, but his first touch and movement was good for someone who was out for so long.

Just so glad to see this guy back out there after that horrendous injury. Little by little he will be back, day by day Jimenez!

I think our goalkeeper, John Ruddy, was the only one to play more than 45 minutes in that game. It was a skeleton squad, with many players still on holiday after the Euros, so I'm guessing Lage wanted to see what the fringe players were capable of. Raul is probably still some way from full match fitness, so easing him in gently.

Jimenez starts for Wolves in the friendly vs Real Betis shortly. If anyone is interested, Wolves are streaming it (for a fee).

4.99 GBP, but probably not worth it if you're only watching for Raul. I suspect ther will be plenty of substitutions during the match.

Pretty much. He was (incorrectly) flagged offside for his best chance. It's early days.
