Raúl Jiménez started his Premier League career with a vital goal for Wolves, a very good header.Decent display overall, liked his movement, and played a few good passes to supporting attackers. Missed a one v one though and lost too many duels. His stats via @SofaScore 👇 pic.twitter.com/ZYEYzELXi7— Tom Harrison (@tomh_36) August 11, 2018
dat obsession. Raul's gonna have a good first season. His team need to step it up against chelski/Arse/spuds/City/United or they'll get ragdolled.
Wolves fans seem really positive on Raul. Here's a sample post from their forum: "Bennett, Neves and Jimenez all very good today but major improvement needed elsewhere. Jimenez MOTM quality play and a cracking goal." http://www.wolvesforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?2-Wolves
Good points. I thought Raul was doing so-so up until his goal. He seemed to be struggling against Everton who played more than half the time with 10 men. I found Leo Bonatini to be more in tune with the team TBH. It's not going to be an easy season for Raul.
Raul as MOTM might be a little too flattering IMO. Neves scored an sumptuous FK and delivered the cross leading to Raul's goal, so I would pick him instead.
Desafortunadamente siempre va a haber personas que tratan de encontrar algo negativo donde no lo hay. Triste, muy triste.
Some fans love to hype up any Mexican player and then get all crazy when the NT fails to meet their unrealistic expectations. I don't. Raul scored 1 goal against a side down to 10 men in home game, against one of their direct rival in the EPL team. Given the circumstances, he had a decent performance nothing more nothing less. Now if you want to believe he'll be the next ballon d'or recipient, I'll let you have it.
My sincere apologies, I never knew Raul had your heart. I shall never speak inconsiderately about him again out of respect for your feelings
They're just yanking your chain, pepe. None of us here really think he had a historically great performance. But he did do very well, and we're just happy for a fellow paisa.
Anyone have a clip of the one on one he missed? I must’ve been taking my morning sh!t when that happened.
Yeah, I was like "This is it!" when watching live. I was sorely disappointed when he didn't use his left.
