NSR: Rare Crew Jersey

Beauty. But too rich for my blood. I want one of the dual layers with Columbus Crew on the front.

 

I own a non-numbered version of that uniform, which has always been both my favorite and least-favorite. I really like it, but I always thought that the number and name panels just looked so cheap, so weekend co-rec league looking.

 

I'd probably buy it if it had someone else's name and number on it - even Billy Thompson...

 

I wish him luck in getting five bills for that.

Agreed, I'd rather have the non numbered than a game worn after seeing a close up of the numbering for the first time in a long time.

 

$500? Maybe the guy's wife is telling to get rid of it so he told her he's "trying" to sell it on eBay.

 

There were two versions of the numbering for this style shirt. I have a L/S Clark shirt with iron-on numbers and letters (and yes, it's real, as I got it directly from the team at one of the auctions down at Obetz back in the day at one of the exhibition games down there). My guess is the equipment guys got tired of the sewn on stuff.

 

Haha, he must have mistyped and put an extra 0 (or 2).

 

I wear a medium in soccer jerseys, and that one's a large. I'm not looking for frame material. I'll have to pass and continue waiting for another to pop up.
