The Clavio strategy is working.... Bore the fans, players, coaches, and the World to tears then capitalize on a mistake while everyone is snoring.
Well, at least we've learned Ugo can shoot as well as Niko. Speak of the devil (literally), look who's coming in.
After the way Prideau has been playing, I think it's an appropriate move. Does anyone know why it is soooooo haaaaarrrdd for MLS teams to produce players that can actually shoot the ball on frame??????????? PATHETIC CRAP!!!!
Somebody needs to back up Prideaux. Oh, oh. Niko in, this can't be good. Clavijo must be trying to work him back into the rotation....shit
Celebrate good times come on ..... let's celebrate!!! (I don't know if I got the lyrics right but what the heck)
Fulltime 1-1. A fair result, neither team outplayed the other today. We didn't hurt or playoff chances, but we didn't relieve the pressure either. Chicago can still pass us if they win the game in hand. The game in LA next week against a Spiceless Galaxy is a must win.
Most boring, important game I've ever watched. Players just walk off the field apathetically like the tie was nothing.
Next up Galaxy at the HDC. I wish LA has a couple more catch up games this week to get them good and tired by next weekend.
We were playing one of the few teams that are more pathetic than us and they do have the absolute worst coach in the league (Sigi Schmit).
My play of the game, a slight variation on Altitude's play, is when Moreno was kept onside by none other than Prideaux for the second time and Petke seeing Moreno 3 steps ahead of him; then looking over Prideaux way and shaking his fist in disgust at Prideaux. Priceless!!! (even though he may have been shaking his fist at the linesman, I would like to believe he was more angry at Prideaux for being a lazy slob).
I'm really becoming frustrated at why prideaux is in the lineup, ESPECIALLY when you consider sanneh was taking a midfield position from someone like cancela.
Mehdi's assist was excellent, but other then that, very little creative passing in the offensive end for the Rapids. It looked like the Rapids were all wearing 20lb boots.
1-1 On the road. Ugly tie, but this means we are *ahead* of the Crew as we own the tiebreaker 1-0-1 (I think). I was impressed that given both sides sophmoric indignant play, CC kept trying to drag the boys forward, and an 84th minute goal on the road to tie is priceless. I cannot recall the last time we scored a late road goal that tied a game. Or won a game. Chicago loses, LA loses, and Hmmm. KC is only 5 point up and we have a game in hand on them..... R
Actually 0-0-2 (0-0 draw in our 4th of July match) but we do own the next tiebreaker, goal differential, right now
