Just got word that today's training was cut short after 45-60 minutes, because they're going to be scrimmaging against the Rapids Reserve at 4:00pm today at Westy.
Last time we played the Rapids Reserve I made some off-hand comment that maybe we'll finally win one....Turned out I was wrong, so I will not do that again. Thank God we can't be relegated.
Unfortunately with this scrimmage being a last-second decision, I was stuck in the wrong part of Colorado at the wrong time of day to be able to make it up there... I know this was a similar problem faced by a few members of the media as well.
Colorado wins That's right Colorado won yesterday's scrimage 1-0! Colorado basically used the guys who didn't play/play much on Sunday and the Reserves used their full roster subbing freely. They only played 70 minutes but I hear the action was entertaining, up and down the field.
