Rapids have improved in recent games. In particular, Zardes with his scoring and not as many glaring defensive gaffs. And this improved play has happened without Capt'n Jack. On paper the biggest concern is who/how is Wilson replaced on the back line. It looks the options are Moor and Villecilla. The Sounders are not in good form and have their own injury issues. 1550226443753271297 is not a valid tweet id
1-1 draw, goal by Rubio. I'm not ready to predict a road win yet. Seattle has struggled, not scoring in the last 3 matches, but they're still Seattle. I think our recent improved play and Seattle's confusion means we can steal a point but that's as far as I'll go right now. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2022/07/colorado-heads-to-beautiful-night-in.html

I can’t see a win on the turf in Seattle. I know Seattle is reeling a bit, but I’d be surprised if they weren’t looking at this game to turn it around. 2-1 loss, with Zardes scoring.

Seattles lost their last three games and has been shutout in each. Ruidiaz is out tonight, but a front 4 of Bruin, Medranda, Morris, and Lodeiro will still be tough to deal with - and Rusnak looks to be playing as a 6 in a double pivot for them tonight as well. Seattle definitely wins with the lineup graphic for sure tho: Our @Delta Starting XI! ☀️📝 https://t.co/KcimoY2wYp | #SEAvCOL pic.twitter.com/NYZsYrxFMI— Seattle Sounders FC (@SoundersFC) July 24, 2022 Max, Toure, and Yapi probably all get minutes tonight. Looks like a 4-2-1-3 for us that we’ve been seeing recently, with Rubio as that #10 in the middle where he’s been really effective
Thru 22 minutes... Seattle with 78% possession and 2 good chances to score. Rapids 22% possession and 1 good chance to score. SEA 0-1 COL.
Some good team defending in the last few minutes, mainly because our actual defender defending has been somewhat shaky
Rapids completely unable to possess the ball at all and are under a lot of pressure. Amazingly Sounders haven't scored but it feels like it's coming. Still 0-1
Bad call on that quick restart. Seattle clearly gained advantage by taking the kick 10 yards from the spot of the foul.
I wonder if the ref change to this guy was because he’s in the Seattle FO’s pocket book….yeesh what a terrible first half. Lodeiro is falling over easier than Rubio and is getting every whistle. And don’t even get me started on that ghost call on Abubakar followed by a free kick taken 15 yards from the foul….. Here’s hoping for a better 2nd half
Poor call on the foul, but the Rapids really shouldn't be resting their complaints that a free kick was taken 5 yards in the defensive half instead of 5 yards in the offensive half (especially since the Rapids kicked the ball away to stop a quick restart from the location). That happens every game and it never leads directly to a goal so everyone is fine with it. Its the Rapids' job to stay awake.
Somewhat of an attacking sub with Max coming on for Priso. Need to possess with purpose with the man advantage.
PK to Seattle when Yarbrough trips Morris in the box. Great pass puts Morris thru, Yarbrough blocks his shot into the middle of the box, and somehow Morris gets their first and draws the foul. Lodeiro converts 2-1
People can complain about the poor handling of the restart on the first Seattle goal, but a 2-1 scoreline isn't an unfair representation of this match.
