The focal point is the rock in the middle not Colorado or the ball. The action of the water is too much. It's just too busy... this might look good on our screnes but what would it look like 10 feet tall?

The added color for the water is also problematic since a two color primary scheme is preferred over a three color primary scheme in brands (for reproduction purposes). Sure there are accent colors but Maroon and silver/gray are the only colors in this badge really. To add blue throws off the balance.

We can tell from the rebranding that KSE wants to get away from the water and just keep the name Rapids. This would do just the opposite.

The badge is, what it is... let's not talk about possibly changing it for a t least a couple years?

the word "Colorado" covers up the three mountains, so they look like one, big triangle

Yes it is nice, but I like what we got. Besides "Rapids" is going the way of the Dodo bird. Note that nothing since rebranding has anything to do with rapids or even water.

I'd be fine with being known as "colorado"
