Attended the All Blacks v USA rugby match (a 104-14 beat down), then watched the DC United v NYCFC game (a 6-0 beat down). Figuring I had some sort of mojo on me, I opt'd against watching the Rapids play live ... you're welcome :)

Seriously, huge win and it is great to get back to the playoffs!

A fun match to watch in person. About five minutes in a stated that the high pace, up and down the pitch favored the Rapids. The Timbers, unlike the Sounders didn't get numbers behind the ball and couldn't prevent the Rapids from advancing the ball with pace and getting it to the wings. The only reason the Rapids didn't score earlier was lack of runners in thee box at the time a cross was played in, until Badji elevated to score the first goal.

Once again Fraser trotted out 3-5-2, with Acosta as the right wingback and Galván on the left. Galván was getting a lot of crosses in and Acosta was able to drift central a bit to help control the match. Hope his injury wasn't too serious.
