If the Rapids lose this game (and it strongly appears that they will) - they will not have won a game all year when Burpo has started - I believe. I am not attributing all the issues to Burpo, but I think it speaks to the personnel decisions of the coach.

I stand corrected, Burpo has won 1 game. Pickens was was injured, but I was under the impression that he has been "healthy" for the last several weeks.
It doesn't make a difference either way - Burpo hasn't done anything of note to win us a game this year or to keep us in a game to win, whereas Pickens absolutely has several times.
THe myth of fleeting brilliance. Playing consistently poorly only to be interrupted by a couple of nice plays does not make an MLS player. Or at least one that deserves to start.

Smith didn't take the free kick. Ballouchy shouldn't be in the game, sure. And I'm ready to ditch Smith as much as the next guy. But Mehdi's the one without the brain there.
