Wish I could attend the match tomorrow. My guess is that the players on loan from the Rapids are most likely to get significant playing time, especially early on in the season. And the players on Rapids 2 contracts will be next in the pecking order. It will be interesting to see how much emphasis there is on winning matches versus individual player development. My assumption is players on Rapids 2 contracts are in some sense trialists with a whole season to make an impression. And amateurs are looking to impress to the point of earning a professional contract at some point, but don't give up their college eligibility in the short term.

Interesting, I know FIFA is not happy that actual game "ball in play" time is down in the 5X minutes, this is a better fit then the stopping game clock for all stoppages/ ball out of play I was hearing about. Plus, I hate the whole fake injury time waste where they pop up and want back in the second they cross the sidelines.
The red card rule is a little confusing to me. What if you don't play the same team again that season?
