🤳 @RaphaelVarane with a message for every Red!#MUFC pic.twitter.com/XldK2kI0Uh— Manchester United (@ManUtd) August 15, 2021 That intro yesterday prior to the match is still giving me a warm feeling. Was absolutely incredible and perfect for the moment. That's how it's done.
Does not come anywhere close to beating the intro we got Saturday. Best player announcement we've got at the club in years in my estimation.
Exclusive: Raphael Varane speaks about his transfer to Man Utd in a new interview | Manchester United Great words from Rafe. You get the feeling he wanted to come to United (a story 10yrs in the making after all) and that he'll do everything he can to help return the club to glory. Really feels like the final piece of the jigsaw, at the back at least: let's get down to business.
Loving the 🆕 look(s), Rapha! 😎#MUFC | @RaphaelVarane pic.twitter.com/Y7EdahGERh— Manchester United (@ManUtd) August 16, 2021 Personally think we've come out pretty good this season in terms of the kits (especially when we stack them vs the ones of recent years, as a group). All 3 of them. Really love the home one with that classic, vintage look and feel. The away one just looks cool/fresh and truthfully, even though the 3rd one is not necessarily my cup of tea, it's growing on me and does not completely offend me the more I see it worn particularly.
Short sample size obviously, but the difference is clear. Even more so when watching him play. His calm and composure+the fact that he can make guys like Maguire or Kimpembe look pretty decent, says it all. Real shame that both he and Pogs are probably not going to be available for the holiday schedule (and during this time of transition also).
his recovery is...? been quiet on that front of late. unless his injury is even worse than initially thought
An interview with Raphael Varane on:* The chance to create history at #mufc * The mental barrier #mufc must beat* Not being able to celebrate at Real Madrid* Solskjaer* Maguire* Wanting to catch up with Fergie 10 years onhttps://t.co/qWtWprHnNz— Matt Law (@Matt_Law_DT) December 3, 2021 He's needed, badly and we have to hope he can come back soon.
If I didn't see him keep popping up on FIFA drafts, I'd forget this guy exists sometimes.....had to double check that he played 22 league games last season. Feels an after thought
🗞 Erik ten Hag feels Raphael Varane understands zonal marking and when he needs to switch from zonal to man-marking or emergency defending. He also feels Varane is excellent at stepping into midfield with the ball and playing progressive passes. [@AndyMitten]— UtdDistrict (@UtdDistrict) September 2, 2022
Raphaël Varane's injury is less serious than first feared. He has a lesion of the femoral bicep (hamstring). If he is selected for France's World Cup squad, he would probably miss the first match against Australia [@ddubras]— utdreport (@utdreport) October 23, 2022
Take two! Varane announced his international retirement today at only 29. Guess France have a lot of young CBs on the rise. Means we've got him all to ourselves, I actually really like this, he's clearly injury prone so to have him having fewer games and fewer chances to break himself is a positive in my eyes.
