    If you don't want to read the article, Weiss was an assistant under both Harbaugh brothers. And, some of you might recall, John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens defended Ray Rice after he was accused of assulting his then fiance. I forget if it was before or after the video appeared of Rice dragging his unconscious fiance by the hair out of an elevator. Not a lot of quality associated with the Harbaughs (there is also current Justin Tucker situation).

    Russell Brand charged.

    Russell Brand has been charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault between 1999 and 2005.

    The charges relate to four separate women.

    ...

    In a short statement, the Metropolitan Police said it had written to Brand to inform him that he was being charged with one allegation of rape, one allegation of indecent assault, one of oral rape and two further counts of sexual assault.

    The force said it is alleged that:
    • In 1999 a woman was raped in the Bournemouth area.
    • In 2001 a woman was indecently assaulted in the Westminster area of London.
    • In 2004 a woman was orally raped and sexually assaulted in the Westminster area of London.
    • Between 2004 and 2005, a woman was sexually assaulted in the Westminster area of London.

    Hmm... adventures in browsing.

    I use chrome on my laptop and my phone, but I'm viewing this on Edge today. I refreshed 12 times and still didn't get the tweet. Never had to go more than four or five times on Chrome.

    Edit: LOL, as I posted this, I can see the tweet within the quotes. But in Ceez's original post I'm still seeing that it's not a valid tweet.

    Forget about not being found guilty of attempted murder after you stabbed someone 15 times and needed to be dragged off his victim by five men, how exactly is he not guilty of possession of a knife? Did he us a banana to stab her with? Qué?

    And another such case. The police statement is bizarre, since it seems to approach it from a POV of lowering the threshold for these women to report stalking and threats. But Claire Chick had reported her ex six times, telling the police she believed he was going to kill her and they did nothing. So the issue here is not that the victim didn't dare go to the cops, it's that the cops did ******** all after she did report her eventual killer.

    In that case from Spain, I think, where the police admit to using program which give an assessment of the threat of DV, I'd be interested to know what the process and assessment was for Chick.

    Smokey now?!

    Four anonymous housekeepers are suing Motown legend Smokey Robinson for $50 million (£37 million), accusing him of sexual assault.

    A complaint filed in Los Angeles superior court accuses the 85-year-old of sexual battery, false imprisonment, negligence and gender violence, in addition to a number of labour violations related to wages, breaks, meal times and overtime pay.

    The lawsuit also names Robinson's wife, Frances Robinson, claiming she contributed to a hostile work environment, and used "ethnically pejorative words and language
