Paper says today that Novo has made his mind up to sign for Rangers and not the great unwashed. Wise decision by the lad. I’m sure he will score a few in the SPL.

I’m a bit indifferent about it to be honest. I would like to see us sign him but I would also like to see us sign another striker as well. Anyway according to the papers he has decided on Rangers. Apparently he is good pals with Zurab and Rae. Mind you it was in the Record. So could be a lot of nonsense.

anyone else think we should go in for Hasselbaink?? I know he was paid enormous wages at Chelsea but if he thinks he is getting anywhere near that now he is crazy.

I would like to see us sign him and Novo. Looks like the Arteta deal is going to go through as well. £3.75m to Real Sociadad.

Aye, heard that on the radio. Is it only on loan though?

Fergie has given him permission to train with us with the view to winning a move. He still has 2 years on his United contract. It would be good to see another Scot at Ibrox. He looks a decent player and he is still young.

I thought Rangers had pretty bad debts. Wouldnt this affect thier signings?

According to the Evening Times, Moore may be on his way to Everton for £1m.

If Rangers do have £1m, why don't they stop p*ssing up rope and sign Novo?

They're going bargain basement hunting. Also, I think iot's more to do with the wage budget, which must be down on last year.

Why would we do that! Does it not make more sense to get him for as cheap as possible!

I think he had made his mind up very early on to sign for Rangers. I always think we have an edge when it comes to these things. You always get the impression that Celtic go about these things in a very amateurish way.

Don't ken if the Novo deal is signed, sealed and delivered just yet, but nice to see that he was willing to forego his signing on fee to sign for the Gers. At least next season we'll have a few players who clearly want to play for the shirt, instead of just for the money.
