Good. I hope the little bitch gets jail time...it's doubtful though. One good thing is that they reported on the news here that he'll at least have to spend the night in jail until he goes before a judge tomorrow morning. People here are so fed up with his bull*************** and the Vikings perfect 0-3 start. Culpepper's crap too. I'm glad hockey season starts soon.
"By me coming here and working out with most of the young guys, I guess that's just showing them a little leadership and how bad I want to win a Super Bowl,'' Moss said in June. Hahahahaha, oh he's a comedian when he wants to be as well? Man, I loathe this guy. I used to think I'd never hate anyone more than Keyshawn after he left the Jets the way he did, but Moss, over the past couple of years, has proved me wrong. As for the cops saying he's gonna be treated like anyone else? I sure as hell hope so but seriously doubt it.
I'd be surprised if anything happens to that piece of crap. One thing I noticed living in Minnesota is that the Vikings get away with stuff that other teams don't get away with. And when I saw this quote, "Witnesses called the situation "surreal'' but said it was clear Moss did not intend to hurt Zaccardi." and others like it (um, if it was "clear" then maybe he would've put the car in reverse and NOT ran at her?), it makes me think that he'll get off with a slap on the wrist. My favorite Viking Dipsh!t moment from my time in Minnesota: having a fastpitch softball double header called off because Keith Millard got bored during training camp in Mankato, drove up to the town where I lived 10 miles away, and did donuts on three of the four fields. I only missed those two games, but a week's worth were called off. And it took the Vikings over two years to eventually pay for the re-sodding like they said they would.
Nice. File this under "NFL Players with police arrest history." Ricky Williams, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, Kerry Collins, etc.......
Funny you mentioned the Vikings getting away with everything, Dr. Wankler. A lot of "Pros and Cons" seemed to be about the Vikings, much more than the Cowboys, the supposed Police Blotter Team.
Keyshawn is an ass who I love to resent. I loved seeing Wayne Chrebet make him eat his words. Johnson definitely has a big mouth, but he seems pretty harmless otherwise. Moss is just a thug who I have no choice to resent because my principles dictate so. He may be a hell of a receiver, but he's a scum of a human being. It's a shame most sports fans can't seem to look past his achievements on the field. But then again, most sports fans are pretty shallow individuals.
Just out of curiosity Dr., what were you doing living 10 miles out of Mankato? I have a friend who lives in Mankato, and there isn't much there, let alone 10 miles away. As for Randy Moss, a friend of mine said during the off-season that the Vikings ought to trade him. His basic logic was that some kind of meltdown type incident was extremely likely if not inevitable, so it was better to get rid of him when he still had tremendous trade value and get something significant in return while also getting rid of a potential problem.
I don't mind Keyshawn either. Jets wanted to beef up their defense, so trading Keyshawn for draft picks and opening up cap room was an easy decision. He politely asked for a trade and the Jets happily obliged. I have no problem with that. At least he didn't handcuff the team with a huge contract. Moss on the other hand comes off to me as a big kid in arrested development. He can't seem to understand why everyone pays so much attention to him he's just acting out as a form of rebellion. I don't think he's a bad seed, per se, but he definitely has a lot of growing up to do.
My wife and I were working for Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Why the hell Keith Millard had to do donuts on St. Peter's fields is a mystery I've never solved. I actually didn't mind the Vikings until we moved there. Now, I even though I don't pay a lot of attention to the NFL, I really, really like it when they suck. And I almost like it even more when they're really good, but manage to under-achieve.
I only hate Keyshawn because of his damn mouth. I like how he took charge and demanded the damn ball but Calling Chrebet a flashlight and referring himself to a star, yeah, real classy. I especially enjoyed their first encounter when Keyshawn was a Buc. If I remember correctly, Chrebet got a TD and Keyshawn had ONE reception.
Quick Randy update: According to the Pioneer Press Moss will be charged with 2 misdemeanors rather than a felony. He remains in jail at the moment. A couple choice quotes: "Vikings head coach Mike Tice said he spoke to Moss Tuesday night, and that the player asked him to get him out of jail." "Tice noted that the timing isn't ideal since the Vikings are off to their first 0-3 start since 1967."
Unfortunately Randy Moss is in trouble again, man I wish this guy would get his s**t together,he's one of most exciting players in the league(when he actually plays.)I can't believe he would do something so idiotic, why would you ram a police car when you got a small amount of marijuana in your car.Well I hope they throw the book at him.By the way did anyone else think that tirade between Culpepper & Moss on Sunday was hilarious.Talk about some good team chemistry.
Another candidate for the NFL all-moron team. Jay Leno told a joke on the 2night show on the incident: "The Randy Moss incident with the traffic cop was actually the best DRIVE by Minnesota this season." The audience cracked up.
Police found marijuana in Randy's car. Randy said it isn't his. He is just hang on to it for somebody else
