Does anyone know what the wholesale price of football boots? For instance, the Nike Mercurial Vapor V's cost $219.99 at soccer.com. What are they pairing for each boot?
some times if your club is sponsored by a brand you may get boots for free or at cost.. and i guess its interesting to see how much a boot should cost us rather then what we are paying to shops etc who make the profit..
this is true, but shops make a profit in order to stay in business. without that + margin, price jump, there would be no shops out there selling boots.
oo this is true i know it just sucks knowing how much i could be getting a boot for.. but hey thats life cant complain.
the other question that is important is how much are the reps paying for them. This may not be the case for the big 3 (nike, adidas, puma) where their reps seem to be on salary but reps for smaller companies like lotto have to buy the shoes themselves and then sell them to a store. so a Zhero Gravity is about $189 cost to a store and about $115 cost for a sales rep. So that means if your local store brings in even 5 pairs of zhero gravs then the lotto sales rep is already making a little bit.
