Red dead 2 is pretty awesome

Takes some getting used to as you feel clunky at first

Seems like Epic Games is going in full attack mode on Valve's cashcow Steam by releasing their own game distribution platform. They're not only undercutting Steam in terms of their distribution key, they're also planning to give away a huge amount of quality games to their users to rapidly grow. I guess all that Fortnite money is going to come in handy.

Really looking forward to some much needed fierce competition on the digital distribution market. Steam has been a very lackluster service for quite a while as far as I'm concerned.

And I say that as a GOG fan.

haven't posted here in a while, so I will bring a debated question among my group here.

In Rocket League there is a car decal called Junk Food, what food is circled in the picture below? 49624191_1273851722739833_6148153217873084416_n.jpg

Titanfall 2 is really as good as they say. Too bad it didn't get the attention it deserves. Probably the most enjoyable shooter I've played in many years.

I'm too dumb (old?) for the genre. I didn't even understand how to pick a class in the squad screen and left frustrated. :notworthy:

EA's timing of the release of Apex Legends is confusing to me. On one hand, they've got a hit on their hands, but on the other they're about to release a game that's also a shooter, but this one is slightly more expensive.

I tried the Anthem demo. It was...fine. The flight mechanics were pretty good, but the rest was meh. With a lot of their potential customers playing Apex, I'm not sure how well it's going to do.

After the disappointing performance of Mass Effect: Andromeda, and with the way EA seems to like to close studios, I'd say there's a good chance that if Anthem isn't a hit, that will be Bioware's last game.

Even if Anthem isn't a hit (it won't be, but its not because of Apex Legends) I doubt its the end of the studio, they are already into production of the next Dragon Age and have future plans for Mass Effect (if Dragon Age doesn't pan out, then panic) I still think BioWare gets another hurrah after Anthem

I heard the studio that made apex only has a loose affiliation to ea and did what they want in terms of creation and release

The guy who is high up there has a couple of interviews shitting on ea

Picked up Hellblade - Senua's Sacrifice for 15€. Only one hour in but already one of most unique, awesome adventures I've played in years.

Let's hope the studio won't get too corrupted under Microsoft's new ownership...I'd really like to play more games like this...

Looks like Anthem will be a big flop. The first impressions are way worse than even ME: Andromeda's. What a pity. Looks like it is another game that focuses so much on being a "live service" that it forgets the important part: to actually be fun and engaging.

I would not be surprised if the loot box system as we know it is gone in 5 years. Belgium has already clamped down on loot boxes, and a couple US states have bills going through legislation.

If loot box regulation does go through, it'll cause a serious change in the gaming industry, especially mobile games.

Has anyone played Metro Exodus yet? Do I need to play the first 2 games before playing it?

I haven't played Exodus yet, but I did play the previous two games. The entire premise is not too complicated so I assume the game will have no problem whatsoever letting new players catch up with what happened previously.
