currrently watching now Shenmue 1 and 2 remastered out now on PC, PS4 and XB1. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018...ming-history-lesson-but-it-feels-like-school/
I haven't played the first two Metro games, but I'm excited for Exodus. That game has looked great since they debuted it a year ago.
Didn't feel the need to start a thread on this, but if mods want to move it that's fine. This question for my fellow gamers is on organization. With the recent purchase of a PS4 my entertainment area is getting a tad cluttered with wires and such. how do you guys organize your multigame system setups. I do all of my gaming in our living room and currently have a Switch, XBone and PS4. So you can imagine what it looks like behind the entertainment stand...chaos! Any advice?
I just don't look behind my tv. The only real problem I have with the Switch/PS4/Xbox are the internet cables I use. With previous systems and having thinner wires/cables I would use zip/twist ties to help declutter.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the "Cyberpunk 2077" gameplay video? I thought it looked great. I have read some criticism about the writing but it's a bit harsh to based that appraisal of what is essentially two quests worth of content.
PS4 tip, make sure you have yr system set up so that it will download stuff in rest mode, games usually download faster in rest mode than when the system is on. Normally I do a full power off to avoid endlessly downloading updates but when I want something downloaded/installed quickly I will switch to rest mode. As for Spiderman, this game is great. The fluid flow of combat is inspired by Batman but thanks to it being Spiderman reminds me of Bayonetta too.
Happy Video Game Day Gamers... https://nationaldaycalendar.com/national-video-games-day-september-12/
Replaying Metal Gear Solid 1 on PS3. Despite the shitty blocky graphics and shitty clunky control. Cant believe this game existed back in the day. Waaaayyyy ahead of its time.
Word. A classic and a masterpiece. The sniper wolf death scene still makes me a bit teary lol. Man such a shame that Konami were aholes and didnt treat Kojima right. I would have LOVED to see a modern remake of the NES games Metal Gear 1 and 2. Snake fighting Big Boss in outer heaven and Zanzibar. ********. Well at least Kojima has total creative freedom from Sony for Death Stranding.
currently downloading Red Dead Redemption 2, looking to play it after work... Loving Spider-Man, completed the story just started working on the Heist DLC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 graphics are jaw dropping. Playing it on PS4 pro. I heard it looks even better on Xbox One X.
anyone have a chance to check out the Fallout 76 BETA? not sure how I feel about it, it was fun exploring with my group of friends, but would almost prefer to play solo..
I love everything about the game, except the actual gameplay. Some of the design decisions are truly baffling. I'm gonna be blunt, personally, the game is awfully boring to me. I played for about 10-12 hours and I think I'm done. I can't bring myself to play it with the terrible controls and shooting. The story, characters and game world are really well made with tons of attention to detail, I just wish they had put more of that work towards making the game fun instead of a chore simulator
To be honest, I kinda agree. I want to have fun with this game but Im just not. It was the same with the first Red Dead Redemption, and I felt a discrepancy between all the amazing review scores and my experience with the game. Which is why I never finished the first one, stopped at one third into the game. About RDR2, Im putting the game down for now, and I suspect it'll be the same as with the first RDR. Im probably not gonna go back to it, at least not for a looong while. :/
Is there anything out now that is worth checking out? Not counting "Red Dead Redemption 2" (I'm a PC gamer) or "Assassins Creed Odyssey" (I want to get around to that eventually but don't have the time right now to do it justice).
Been playing ES5: Skyrim since forever but just started playing ESO online which is good IMO. I run linux and use the new Proton system they've developed which is preeety sweet as it runs it well enough without any screwing around in WINE.
