Where do they think they'll play? NFL stadiums? /s More power to them and maybe this is how the pro/rel crowd is satisfied (until their D1 team gets sent down to USL 1).
Yes. https://www.theclevelandcrunch.com/ It's a different team from the legendary 90s team, but they recognize the history. It seems to be similar to what the Earthquakes did. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Crunch

No NWSL, but cleveland is getting a WPSL Pro team Cleveland is getting a women's pro soccer team after all - taking an ownership stake in a new league, the WPSL Pro. What indication do these people have that Cleveland - arguably the toughest and most blue collar sports town in America - will support a minor-league women's soccer team, and support it enough to justify a $50 Million stadium?
They really should just rent Byers Field (10,000-seat high school stadium in the near southwestern suburbs) for the teams that they have.

I know a former Crunch player who is none too happy that the current version is using the Crunch name and history.
Whoa, he seemed to be really struggling when he was with FCC, including the bar fight in which his jaw was broken. Very sad.
