There was also a While You Were Out (last year?) where the victim was sent to soccer camp with the Colorado Rapids while his house was being made over.

I was in a strange mood last night. It's not like I wasn't in a public place or anything.... Or course people would hear what I said.... But you didn't catch the part about my age did you? (This is where you say no, even if you did ;) ).

My sunburn is getting better. It just looks like crap now. I shoulda been wearing sunscreen, just like you shoulda been wearing a hat! :)

Too cool! Not that I watch those shows.......wouldn't be very manly of me.....I mean except for the tools and stuff.....oh, and the hot chicks. They have one show where they have like 5 dysfunctional carpenters that finish and improve when a guy trys to start a project while the unsuspecting guy is away......they always argue and stuff, well they have this hotty blondish carpenter chick that has been silicone caulked in a couple spots, if you get my drift......mmmmmm......very hot! Wish I knew her name.

What I want to know is why when I signed up for the SSV thing I had to write out my age, but if I go online I can put in a range?

I just came back from watching I, Robot. It was really good! :)

The movie isn't a true adaptation of the Isaac Asimov book of the same name, but it was apparently inspired by several of his works (including "I, Robot"). In any case, the movie definitely worked in its own right.

Next up for me: to rewatch my The Bourne Identity DVD before heading off to watch The Bourne Supremacy this coming weekend.

    GO EARTHQUAKES!!!

This is a first for a movie based on an Asimov work. I still have nightmares about "Nightfall". And not the good kind.

    Blah, blah...blah, blah, blah....

Why don't they just call it the Tour de Lance?

Those people who spit at him today are damn fishin' lucky I'm nowhere near France. Fishin' fishers!

Does he have to kiss whats-her-name after every stage?

Cancer almost killed me before I was even born.

With that in mind, I believe that for all he's done, Lance rides with the strength of every cancer survivor behind him.

Cancer survivors are the strongest people on the planet. Enough said.

    Live Strong.

I hope the turn out for the SSV rally goes really well. Wish I could be there.

The logo still rocks. I want a poster.

    I miss San Jose.

Both the city and my Quakies.

I really want to come home.

But it's gorgeous up here and I love my job.

*sigh* Life is never easy. But I'm used to that.

Anyway, I move into my apartment tomorrow.

It's gonna be hecka quiet. Just me and...me. :)

I can't wait to be closer to work. Up to 4 hours a day in a car is not working.

I'm exhausted. I haven't felt this worn down in a long time.

    I should be sleeping, but I can't.

And now I have nothing more to say.

    Who reads this anyway?

    Hey that's a rhyme.

    And not it's bedtime.

    :p

    Re: Blah, blah...blah, blah, blah....

Lance Armstrong is the most amazing athlete on the planet. Bar none.

Just had to say that... and not just because he's excelled after kicking cancer's butt.

Work has been very slow for me, but that's going to change... I've decided that I'm going to enroll in a bartender's school here, to help pay the bills at home (eventually).

The bartending school is supposed to be the best in Victoria, and I'm really enthused about this.

Not giving up on my journalism career, but this is a skill I hope to fall back on when things are going slow.

Not a rumor, it was part of their agreement for pulling out of the All Star game. The MLS players ain't too happy about it since it's during the drive to the playoffs at the end of the season.

Hey it's my 1000th "official" post!

I'd like to thank J.R. "Bob" Dobbs. My mama and daddy for bringing me into the world, and a very special thank you to the most significant thing in my life. Without you I'm just another ordinary internet geek soccer fan...my drum.

Awesome Goodsie. What was your opinion?

I loved the first movie. Have it on DVD. Can't wait to get my TV and DVD player hooked up so I can watch it again.

I haven't read the books. But I'm gonna get them and read them too. Have you read the books by chance? And if so, were they good?

I also loved the first movie (I rewatched the DVD last night). The second movie was also pretty cool! There were a few scenes where the camera was a bit jerkier than it probably should've been (a different person directed the sequel), but that was just a small distraction. Overall, if you loved the first movie, then you'll love the sequel! :D

I haven't read the books yet either, but now I really want to. They'll probably be slightly different from the movies considering that they were written in the mid-1980's (so some of the political references may be a bit different than from the movies), but the overall story should be the same. :)

    GO EARTHQUAKES!!!

Hehe. Yeah I was thinking that about the books. Would be interesting to see what they're like.

I'm gonna have to see Supremacy soon. I think I'll watch the Identity DVD and then go see Supremacy next week.

    Re: Blah, blah...blah, blah, blah....

I wouldn't worry too much about this, sjqf. From what I hear that's pretty standard behavior. I know they aren't as well-behaved as EQ fans, but...at least they didn't do what some German fans did to a guy who was running against one of their favorites (happened back in the early years of the race), throwing tacks and glass on the road right in front of him. There's other bizarre stuff that goes on.
