Puig voted into the All-Star Game. The only Galaxy player to be involved. Which is fine by me. One less meaningless game our players have to play. 2024 MLS All-Star Team Roster | MLSSoccer.com

I thought @MayaYoshida3 of @LAGalaxy was an international man of mystery. Then I asked him all the important questions and now he’s an international man of answers. #MLS pic.twitter.com/pCSffL4irM— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) August 1, 2024 Maya is hilarious.

You know its funny, I remember thinking we finally had some depth a few seasons ago. How wrong I was. This is the deepest we've been since a long time, and the only difference is the fact that our depth pieces turned out to be actually decent. The difference is the FO and the scouting and signing choices. another Kuntz win

Maybe thats why DPs haven't been "making it" in Chicago, its just as miserable there as it is across the pond ;-)
I disagree. Chicago proper is a great city to live in! Yeah, it gets pretty chilly in the winter and can be humid as hell in the summer, but summertime is really festive. Also really walkable, has great public transit, and neighborhoods and communities are massed to pedestrians and not to automobiles.
I lived in Chicago for 4 years and agree. I would totally move back and live there May-September. But not November-March. Nuh uh.
Many years ago my gf and I attended Taste of Chicago. Had a great time until we got caught in the crowd and carried along helplessly for about a block. We were like 3 or 4 people away from the edge and safety but we couldn’t escape. Finally it released its grip on us. Made me realize how easy it is to get crushed to death. But otherwise Mrs. Lincoln, the food and the city were great!
I visited a few times as a kid. Esp when my family had 2 back to back reunions there. The fun part to me (as a kid) was the big cool stuff. Rode a Sleeper Car Amtrack train to get there (that was cool), I remember riding the "L", and going to the top of Sears Tower. Not much else lol.
